The 61st Venice Biennale Arte Opens: In Minor Keys
This is the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, the world's leading contemporary art biennial, returning to Venice under the title "In Minor Keys." Tickets are on sale now.
The exhibition unfolds across its traditional home ground: the national pavilions scattered through the Giardini, and the cavernous industrial halls of the Arsenale, with additional presentations at other Venice sites and at Forte Marghera.
This edition was curated by Koyo Kouoh, who died in May 2025 before the exhibition's opening. Her vision, In Minor Keys, now stands as the framework guiding the entire Biennale.
Visitors can move between the Giardini's national pavilions and the Arsenale's industrial spaces, taking in a global survey of contemporary art shaped by a curator whose work will be experienced posthumously for the first time on this scale.
